NBC: Biden Announces Expansion of High Speed Internet for Low Income Families

  • President Biden is expected to announce that 20 internet providers have agreed to lower costs and increase speeds for low income families.
  • The move is part of the “Affordable Connectivity Program”, for which 48 million households qualify.
  • The program cuts costs of internet service by up to $30 per month.
